Building the Consoles

The right console half-finished. Regular wood screw with countersunk heads were used everywhere, 4x45mm for the structure, and 4x16mm for the skin. I’ve never worked this much in wood before, and i learned the hard way that you have to pre-drill the holes to avoid having the plywood split. I used a bit 1mm narrower than the screw size. Afterwards, any visible screws and gapes were filled using regular wood-filler and sanded down. In the picture above you can still see some unfinished screws and edges because i ran out of time for the day.
